- Certified by Construction Safety Association of B.C. and Construction Safety Network
- A component of the CSABC's STAR COR program - Completion of the STAR COR program entitles a company to a 10% rebate on WCB base assessment rates, plus an additional 5% rebate for those who complete the Return to Work component.
- A component of the ICBA New Workers Safety Package - a 2 day course meeting the requirements of basic safety for new and young workers in the construction industry.
Originally developed as a joint construction industry initiative in Alberta, where over 70,000 workers have now been trained and where a two and a half year study has shown an impressive drop of 75% in Lost Time Claims.

CSTS has been designed to deal with the key issues facing the construction industry. Most students can complete the entire training program in four hours.
